We have conducted the annual transfer agent comparison survey for 18 years. Its methodology is based on a model we developed jointly with Rutgers University Graduate School of Management in 1995. In 2010, over 1,000 companies evaluated their satisfaction with their transfer agents by e-mail. The following are the ratings that transfer agents were given by their clients for "Overall Satisfaction". Industry ratings for all agents have increased since last year, which attests to the consistently high quality of service agents are providing.

The scoring key is as follows: 5=very satisfied, 4=satisfied, 3=neither satisfied nor dissatisfied, 2=somewhat dissatisfied and 1=very dissatisfied.

Continetal Stock Transfer achieved the highest score in the survey, and won the Talon Award this year. Canadian Stock Transfer, formerly CIBC Mellon, received the highest score in Canada. American Stock Transfer received the righest rating in the large agent category.

The "Other" category includes all agents with less than 25 responses.
